rwx sandbox push

Push local changes to an existing sandbox.

Usage

rwx sandbox push [config-file] [flags]

Description

rwx sandbox exec already syncs staged changes, unstaged changes, and untracked files before running a command. rwx sandbox push performs the same one-way sync without running a command. It does not pull changes from the sandbox back to your local working directory.

Use this to update files for background processes that support hot reload. To sync changes and restart a background process, use rwx sandbox background restart.

An active sandbox and a local repository with a resolvable working copy are required. The CLI selects the sandbox for the current branch and config file, or you can select one by run ID.

Arguments

[config-file]

The path to the sandbox configuration file used to select an existing sandbox. Defaults to .rwx/sandbox.yml. --id takes precedence.

Options

--id <run-id>

Push changes to a specific sandbox session.

Global options

--format <format>

Output format: text or json. Defaults to text.

--json

Output JSON data to stdout. Equivalent to --format json.

--access-token <token>

The access token for RWX. Defaults to the value of the $RWX_ACCESS_TOKEN environment variable.
