  • Dan Manges

I was formerly the CTO of Root, which went public in 2020, and of Braintree, which was acquired by PayPal in 2013. I’ve been fortunate to spend the majority of my career working with exceptionally talented people to build companies from scratch. Although I mostly spend time with my kids outside of work, I managed to run my first marathon in 2021.

  • Tommy Graves

Prior to starting rwx, I was a Principal Engineer at Huckleberry and a Senior Engineering Manager at Root. In my free time, I like hanging out with my wife, son, and dog, writing poetry, and watching sports.

  • Ayaz Hafiz

Prior to joining rwx, I studied mathematics and worked in a variety of software development roles. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, skiing, and new submissions on arXiv.

  • Kyle Thompson

After spending time at Root, Huckleberry, and Lower as a Staff Engineer, I’ve gained a particular interest in building software that enables businesses to responsibly grow and maintain their team’s productivity. I’m lucky to be surrounded at rwx by those who wish to do the same. Outside of work, you can probably find me playing D&D, video games, or being herded by my Australian Shepherd, Luna.

  • Tony Schneider

Prior to rwx, I worked as a technical lead, manager, and principal engineer to deliver software in various industries. I’m focused on engineering productivity with an eye towards sustainable architecture and practical domain modeling. I enjoy spending time with my lovely partner and son. I’m an avid card game player and amateur guitarist.

  • Michael Glass

I was one of the first engineers at NoRedInk where I found a love for making other engineers happy, via mentorship and delightful toolbuilding. I will gladly fix your bicycle or begrudgingly setup your wifi.

  • Doug Mayer

Before joining rwx, I held a mix of software engineering roles across varying industries and vastly different team sizes. I’ve spent years focused on engineering productivity with teams that are either scaling up or trying to lay a stable foundation that is right-sized today and can grow with them tomorrow. Outside of that, I spend the rest of my days being silly with my wife and our two young daughters.

  • Pierre Beaucamp

I spent the last decade working as a Software Engineer at multiple startups, being both an individual contributor & manager. At rwx, I hope to not only apply my knowledge to our internal team but also build tools that enable other companies to benefit from our combined experience. In my free time, you might catch me hiking through the Swiss Alps with my wife & dog.
