Location: Columbus, OH

Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000

About RWX

RWX is a venture capital backed startup based in Columbus, OH. Our product is a cloud computing platform that software engineers and their AI agents use to run automation based on code changes, such as automated tests and deployments.

RWX is led by experienced founders Dan Manges and Tommy Graves. Previously, Dan was the cofounder and CTO of Root, which is now a publicly traded company. Prior to Root, Dan was the CTO of Braintree, which acquired Venmo and was then acquired by PayPal.

We’re currently a 7-person team with a product that customers absolutely love. Our momentum is growing with the transition to AI-driven software engineering, and we’re hiring an additional 10 people during 2026.

About the role

We’re looking for a Founder's Associate to take responsibility for everything that happens at the company outside of engineering.

This is a high-variance, generalist role. You might be handling invoicing in the morning, coordinating hiring in the afternoon, and improving an internal process by the end of the day.

You won’t just execute tasks, you’ll design and improve the systems behind them.

You’ll work closely with the founders and take increasing ownership of how the company operates.

Over time, this role can evolve into owning entire functions (e.g., operations, finance, recruiting) as the company scales.

Responsibilities

You’ll own and improve the systems that keep the company running day-to-day, including:

Operations & Finance

  • Vendor management, AP/AR, bookkeeping
  • Customer invoicing
  • Travel and logistics

People & Recruiting

  • Hiring coordination and candidate communication
  • HR systems and benefits

Company Operations

  • Contract preparation and sales support
  • Access administration
  • Project coordination

External Communication

  • Correspondence with customers, vendors, partners
  • Develop marketing materials

Qualifications

No specific prior experience in these areas is required; we’re happy to train. However, strong organizational skills, judgment, and ownership are essential. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguity and figuring things out without clear instructions.

Today, cofounders Dan and Tommy handle most of these responsibilities. You’ll take ownership of them over time.

Location

This position is based in Columbus, OH. We’re about to lease office space at the Peninsula downtown and expect to work in the office most days, with some flexibility for convenience.
